I guess it's time to wrap my trim in something.

Dzzammnn, do it!
I've been debating to go to SS Customs and getting my interior wrapped. I'm thinking a Matte Red cuz it's my favorite color bahahaha

Yeah, it was pretty damn fun back then!
I remember whenever a car beat any of the cops, after their drag race they would talk about their cars on the side and "admire" them and what was under the hood. If you know what I mean haha

Did you do it yourself and where did you buy your wrap? I might just cover mines in glossy black or some other solid color before buying the piano black trim. It looks nice though.

Yep, took a while because I procrastinated so much. Not difficult, just time consuming and tedious.

I got it here:
http://www.metrorestyling.com/3M-Sco...1080-br120.htm

and here:
http://www.amazon.com/3M-1080-Scotch...m/B007BHWYHC/2

Originally got it off amazon, but then had to go to the actual source (metrostyling) to special order some because I didn't have it long enough with the grain running in the correct direction (horizontally).

Nice, thanks for the link bro. You just gave me a site to buy my vinyl So how did you install it? did you just stick it and stretch it on the trim or did you buy some Super 77 Adhesive for extra sticking and a squeegee to lay on smoothly? and how much did you sq ft did you buy?

I might just do this myself

Definitely do it yourself, it can be fun...lol

It's super sticky as it is, so no need for glue really. Just place the trim on the slab of vinyl, make a cutout leaving room on every side. It takes a lot of effort though, a lot of pulling off and stretching to get rid of kinks. Not once did I use a squeegee of any sort. Pull and stretch works the best with this stuff.

I bought 4x5 I think? You have to make sure you get the longer side (5ft) with the grains horizontally though; it costs more, but it just looks proper.

And might I add I had absolutely zero experience doing this. Buy enough vinyl, maybe a little bit more than I said. You will make mistakes, but you'll learn as you go.
