Put 2 new 30amp fuses in.
cranked over but no start.

only difference was the pressure increased from 68 to 75.

noticed afrs on startup stay on 14.6 like no fuels getting passed hpfp.

checked the ekp mudule looks all good.

Only have 1code
2dc1 accelerator sensor 2.

Did a throttle reset.

no change.

re did firmware on JB4.

About to reflash the map.

somethings goung on with having no spark like when I had issues with 2 step and the clutch in issue.
Now I have removed 2 step and it still has no spark.
AFRs dont change on cranking, but im not sure if thats normal as its in closed loop for 30 sec or 1 minute anyway.
The low/no fuel pressures is a funny one.
The lpfp should prime when you open the door. I cant hear it prime now and it has arou d 10psi before cranking.
If it was a fuel issue it should start then stall when lack of fuel is coming from lpfp.

Seems like I have electrical fuel issue and somethings up with accelerator sensor??

I will try and flash a map and see if it goes back to normal.

Flashed it again still no start.

The lift pump is not being triggered to turn on and prime and for some reason the fuel line is not holding pressure after cranking.

Currently
JB4 is in map 0
2 step removed

Problems

Lpfp oem setup not priming - it hasnt always primed but you normally hear it every 2 or 3 times you open tbe door or unlock the car

Lpfp and hpfp have no pressure, when cranking they build to normal pressures in 2 seconds.

After cranking lpfp and hpfp pressure dive to pretty much zero or 10psi.
Engine wont start. - no leaks or splits in hose from hpfp to radium setup including pipe to fuel pump x2.

Afr 1 and 2 reads 14.6 no movement while cranking over. Ecu not displaying or no fuel getting cylinder??

??????

Should prime up and stay up. Did you change to a return system on the LPFP? Maybe the reg has an issue and is not holding after you prime? Block return line by crimping temporarily and see if it comes up?

Its still a non return.

The regulator could be letting the fuel back in the tank.

I can hard wire the oem side pump(now just a lift pump) and see what the logs are and if it even starts.

It could be just a fuel issue or electronic issue also.
Bought a ekp3 module anyway. Heard you have to code them, hopefully it works as its just a lift pump.

Less stress on the engine and better for heat too.

Hard wired the fuel pumps still no start.

The only time this engine hasnt started is from no lpfp fuse and recently 2 step and jb4 configuration.

It has always started first time even after a year.

Anyone got a log of afr while cranking?
Does it move from 14.6?

I did accidentally earth out port 15 on jb4
I dont have an codes. (Dmtl code is on cause i havent removed it from table.)

Plugging the ekp back in and im going to look for spark fuse and next totally remove jb4.

Someone on Terrys site said to look at 5 fuses in the ecu compartment.
1 fuse was blown. Replaced it.

Car started straight up!!!!

Now the choice.
Leave the perfectly good small turbo on or put the lag monster on.

It is good to hear you got over your electrical gremlins Brule. How will the larger turbo suit the stall of your torque converter. Have you got enough stall to compensate the lag from the turbo.

Just went for a drive after installing transmission temperature sensor.
I couldn't get jb4 to read temp sensor so I just got a temp sensor and gauge.

I did around 10 wot runs and 40km.
Highest temp was 74 degrees.
It pretty much stayed at 70 degrees driving at 80kmph. It was hard to get it hotter then 70.
The 2 PWR coolers and deep pan are working well to keep it cool.

Good news Brule. How did it go with the WOT runs?
