Yes, if you replace your stock airbox with the Euro version you just have to remove 7 torx screws to open the lid and slide out the airfilter. Put new filter in and screw the lid back on and you're done.

What do the dynos look like for the Simota CB2? I have a stock 328 with the N51.

I would cut a hole in the front of USA airbox next to headlight, Simota II style

I don't think that much $ for an intake is worth it, Go on autoanything, buy an Injen SP Intake, I believe its a little over $350 but If you google Promo Codes, you can get a very good discount, save money to put towards other Mods.
Ive been using the Injen SP for about week and I'll be honest, It sounds AMAZING! and I can feel the difference when on the highway

The european box style Simota gains 10 hp up top as seen by some 130i dynos
It is like gruppe m

so if u cut your airbox, it may be comparable result
