F30 320d oil and coolant warm up(graphic)

Hi, my mechanic told me my thermostat needed replacing because he noticed oil temperature rising slowly. But as far as I know my thermostat seems to work fine, opens at ~87 C.

The drive was mostly on highway 98km/h. Also noticed that coolant temp was 20 degrees above oil temp while warming up(driving). But after about 20 min both reached their peak temperatures. Measured watching my oil gauge and secretservice menu on the dash board for coolant.

I have heard that oil should always have higher temp than coolant, is that correct and should I worry about anything misbehaving in my car?
