This little Mini Cooper S loaner I have is surprisingly good!

It has fire in it's belly!!

And apparently my 335i is a priority case and will be fixed today. Things are looking up.

When they feel the pressure they scramble like mad men to make sure you're happy.
Its too bad my guy left Calgary BMW 5 years ago, probably get better service at Hyundai or Kia than Calgary BMW or Gallery.

I remember my first ever appointment was 6 1/2 hour marathon and so called 2 hour 'express' service.
First thing that my SA said to me was maintenance can be yearly so you don't have to see us more than once a year.
I said something like 'oh I like coming in for service' cause I was used to Lexus which #1 in my books.
I didn't realize what he actually meant. . . $1400 later I got back my car which was still dirty interior/exterior, fluids not topped, but they made it all better with a come back and we'll clean your car later voucher, not.

I dread having to go in for my service soon. . . FML

glad to hear you got a loaner man! in my experience BMW service has never been able to get a big job done in one day especially if you have a loaner....but u never know...at least the Mini is enjoyable! not like the usual base 328 sedan's i usually get haha

never driven a mini cooper....a buddy of mine really wants to buy one....glad to know your enjoying it! is it a cooper s or just a regular cooper?

Everytime my cars worked on my tires are filled back up, fuids are topped up, exterior is washed, interior is cleaned and vaccumed.

It's like showing up to a bran new car time and time again! I LOVE the service I get at Calgary BMW

when I first bought my car, I complained about some dents in the roof that I did not spot when I first signed the purchase papers.. They spent 1 week removing 11 dents and it costed the sales side 2,000 bucks! I then complained I did not like the wax / polish job. They took my car for 2 more days and spent 9 hours detailing and polishing, charged another 1,100 to the Sales side!

That started me off with the best service of my life.

I do know other people have not been so lucky..

It's a Cooper S .. loads of fun .. no idea what the aftermarket is like though! Tell your buddy to get one.. basically a BMW in a tiny well put together package.

.. and Edit .. they 'found' the problem with my car. Yup. Faulty fuel pump. New HPFP going in right now, should be ready by the end of the day! Let's see how long pump #3 lasts.. LOL

Got my car back -- new HPFP (another 446 pump) installed.

They preferred to call it a 'faulty' pump, rather than another failure. LOL. That's why it worked perfectly for a month before blowing up. Ha ha.

JB4 & DCI back on tonight..!

Couldn't help myself.. I had to finish my stage 2 this summer.. Just ordered another whole wack of stuff guys lol..

AMS FMIC, ER Charge pipe, Tial q BOV.. hope to have everything installed within the month!
Now I'm finished moding my car!!

Good stuff Vader.. just get Cobb Stage 2 when it's out, and you're all set! I feel bad for the next G37 that tries to mess with you. The Infiniti's are easy kills anyway up here, but man .. we're talking jumbo jet-lengths here, and lots of them.

I put my JB4, DCI & USB back on tonight .. took only ~40 minutes, and I've just come back from a mammoth road test. My car feels GREEEEEEAT now. I can't stop grinning. It's certainly faster, and a million times smoother than before. The DCI truly sounds fantastic .. but I feel a bit ricer-esque with the 'whooosh .. pshhhhh .. whooosshh'.

My mods will end with Meth this year .. I won't do DP or FMIC, because they are too much of a pain to remove for warranty, and I still have three years left.

My jb4 will arrive on Monday (no fun at the weekend) and just before I go on vacation

I bought a BMW INPA Ediabas K+DCAN USB Interface cable,down loaded the software
and thats about as far as I got.
So if any of you guys can help a guy out possibly at the meet that would be awesome..

Glad to hear your car is up and running!! I'll start driving more when I'm done my exam. I still have not had anybody try to race me... I guess I'm not cruising around enough lmao

I have warrenty for another 2 and a half years! I am not worried about DP and FMIC... If engine goes or turbo's go I say one simple thing.

I have FMIC, DP, Intake those mods make the turbo MORE effecient so I run LESS boost and my turbo blows!?! F** must be faulty so I demand you fix it... and bmw will replace it under warranty no problem

If you need a hand with the JB4 install, give me a shout. Having to install/uninstall/install in quick succession probably makes me reasonably experienced now .. ha ha!

I don't think any people in their right mind would want to race a 335i that sounds like yours .. unless they happen to be driving something very quick like a Z06

If your turbos go, just upgrade to RB's ..
