I might have them replaced in the future just to be sure, the shop told me they rarely fail in 6 cylinders diesels

Just have in mind that new mounts might not fix the issue. It might even make it worse. Vibrations, its frequency, when and where it starts and when and where it ends up are tough to diagnose.

Shops in Denmark are a money pit , I am using Schmiedmann and they arent great neither. So instead of waisting money on diagnose attempts , will leave it as it is and change the mounts later. Then will see what else can be, one things is for sure it appears only at idle rpm so its somehow related to engine

Has anywone experienced that M3 arms will transmit road vibrations to the chassis? It feels like driving on rumble strips constantly and I replaced driveshaft, wheels, tires, driveaxles, guibo and still not solving the issue.

It comes from the front and the dashboard has high frequency vibration it can be felt also in the floor and pedals. Could it be a faulty M3 arm?
They were inspected and have no play, I dont want to waste more money this car has been a lemon from the start

I've had no such issues with NVH using M3/TRW front control arm kits, nor have I heard anyone complain about that. Seems like your issues is elsewhere.

Did you pre-load the suspension before you tightened the control arm bolts? If you didn't, your control arms now want to press against the road even more (and bearings are prone to fail).

Yes, I had them installed at a local garage specialized in BMW. As far as I understood preloading is not necessary for M3 arms.

I just installed the front and rear arms. The front steering is considerably heavier (more difficult to turn the steering wheel). Is this normal? Is there a way to make the steering a tad bit lighter?

Yes, normal and you get used to it. Added camber is the trade off

Yes, when I drive a loaner 335i with stock suspension I did notice it felt pretty light in comparison to mine.
But share your alignment specs so we can see if there's anything that might make yours worse than normal, you should get an alignment after replacing them.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I sprayed down my lower steering shaft U joint with WD-40 and topped off the power steering reservoir and that did the trick. Now my steering is only very very slightly heavier than before but much much lighter compared to where I started off with my complaint.

The steering feels "normal" for an e92 now even with the m3 arms.
