I saw this last night so I called. At first it seemed legit. I told him I wanted to have someone local go see it and if it was represented correctly, I'll drive or fly down right away.

He agreed until he didn't. Threw up all kinds of excuses to not let a friend see it. Bad area of town, car is too low doesn't want to risk damage. Then he became all about the deposit. Which I'm wasn't 100% against. Wouldn't tell me the vin, would send me a pic of title.

He got mad at me and said if I didn't trust him, he wouldn't sell it. He told me he had a buyer anyway.

$7K for a low mileage 2009 335i? Sounds like a still wrecked salvage.

Claimed clean title never wrecked original owner and all receipts. Not surprised it's pulled now.

What's the scam though? What does he get?

I really am not sure, maybe try to receive payment and bail..or trying to pass off another car? It's just very shady is all
