Yes, I have . I am just looking for upcoming bigger costs or things to look at more closely when looking into my vehicle. |

As a starter for 10, I'd replace the serpentine belt and tensioner, plus MT and diff fluids.

Well, what is the maintenance history?

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

If you just bought it, I recommend changing the fluids to establish a baseline. I do this for every used car I buy then track mileage/maintenance in a spreadsheet.

Change the Oil and Oil Filter. Seeing as there is no dipstick to check the colour.
Check the Air Filter and replace if needed. Check Cabin Filter and replace if needed. If the Spark plugs have not been changed, you should change them. As Phil said, change the Serpentine Belt. Check Coolant, and flush. Get a brake fluid check tool and check the brake fluid if it needs flushing. |
