N54 part out, spun bearing longblock, etc
My N54 failed a few months earlier and there are several parts that the replacement motor came with. Unless otherwise noted all parts have 86k miles Take the longblock for free Motor spins freely. Engine did not seize and the audible rod knock only starts above 2k rpms. HPFP $100 Fuel hardlines - $75 Intake Manifold and Throttle body - $100 Valve cover - $100 Oil filter housing for oil cooler - $100 2x boost solenoids - $80 Oil level sensor - $75 Stock intake box and filter - $50 Fuel related components were working fine at the time of failure, no associated codes and logs were clean. Would you take $200 for the injectors?

Where'd you get your 6 bolt motor from? I've been looking to find a good 6 bolt motor for like 3 months now and it's a joke. Every junkyard I've called is a piece of shit, the people who work there don't give a fuck about what they're selling. I ended up buying a 6 bolt motor from LKQ and they damaged the valve cover in transit. Took ~a month for the motor to arrive because the carrier sent it back to LKQ to fix the valve cover and then finally to me. Then when the engine arrived it had obvious burnt oil/sludge when you look down the oil fill cap. It supposedly compression tested at 170 across all 6 cylinders but I have absolutely no proof of that.
Long story short, I'm looking for another engine still. I just need a good, used 6 bolt N54. AWD or RWD, it doesn't matter. 135, 335, 535 whatever idc. Preferably less than 90k miles. It shouldn't be this hard but 9 out of every 10 junkyards I call have their heads up their ass. Sorry to vent on your post lol, I'm just curious how/where you found your replacement 6 bolt. I'm around Philly btw |

Kinda jealous of your $2200 engine to be honest. Hopefully you bought this earlier than mid-November or something which is when I started looking. I would have gladly snatched up a low mileage 6 bolt for $2200. I would look at 8 bolt engines but I have an upgraded clutch and steel flywheel which I want to keep. |

Also, thanks for the heads up on projectmmotors, I just got off the phone with him. He's got a 6 bolt engine that's not quite rebuilt yet but can be finished soon and then supposedly one coming in next week. His prices were perfectly in line with what I'm looking to spend (anything more is honestly a ripoff, but that's 99% of the engines I come across).
I'm realllly thinking about going with the rebuilt 6 bolt motor but it almost seems too good to be true. 2+ months ago when I started looking this would have been an absolute no brainer but I've heard so many horror stories about shitty N54 shops that I'm hesitant. The guy was nice and knowledgeable though. Going to think it over. Thanks again |

By any chance are you selling the air intake duct/snorkel + screws/bolts? How about cabin air filter cowl/holder?
