How do you remove this tail light bulb?

I've been trying for a little bit. It's for a friend's car, and I've never owned a pre LCI E92. I think I read it was a push-twist-pull process? I've tried a few things but didn't want to break it.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, what bulb is it? (Reverse light bulb). It is PH16W, but I'm now reading that they're 921 bulbs. I'm guessing the black surround is PH16W, but the bulb itself is 921?

Had anyone replaced or tried to see the actual bulb in person?

PH16W is it's own type of bulb, not the same as 921. We've sold a few sets for various cars, M3/M4 and last gen M3 and other E93 Convertibles. I haven't touched them personally otherwise I'd offer more advice. Check out some google pics.

I tried. And, for someone reason it's not a clear answer.

I've attempted myself, asked around, and looked it up.

Just grab it with your teeth and bite it off. That's my advice

Thanks for the carbon license plate frame and sticker! I ordered one last week and it looks great.

So on some cars these are soldered. They otherwise pull straight out. We got some new 100W for the Reverse Lights on the M4 coming out. They are going to be legit.

I would just plug his VIN on realoem, it should tell you exactly which bulb came with their car.
