xenon headlight condensation

Advice on any fixes for to deal with headlight condensation. only happens with cold or damp weather. They are the adaptive headlights on the E91 LCI.

check plastic on back of headlight,,and also have a close look for tiny cracks or hole etc on the glass

Thanks for the advice. most seems to have gone now. it appeared when I was driving earlier in the rain.

deffo seeping in then,,also check to see if your wheel well plastic arch liner ihas no cracks etc,,it could be letting water in.even though the back of light has plastic on,,

You could try putting a little silica bag in there to absorb any moisture and see that cures it, or remove the back and use a hairdryer or heatgun in similar fashion to get the excess moisture out. If it happens again though then there's definitely an issue with the seal or similar.

i have read its something to do with the vacuum inside the lights and nothing to worry about,,but bmw would say that
