Bluetooth Died - MULF to MULF2

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help. Searched man threads but far too much info TBH.

Bluetooth showing -- on head unit, believe MULF unit has died.
AUX still working, have HiFi Audio and no USB.
Am I correct in understanding I need to replace with MULF2 unit that is not the High Basis SVS unit?

Also, is it likely to need coding or should it work plug n play?

Car is E90 '56 pre-lci model, not interested in USB as I stream through AUX and only interested in getting Bluetooth back up & running.

Thanks in advance

Thanks. Managed to pick up a 2011 MULF2 for a reasonable price which I plugged in and Bluetooth works fine.
