Driveshaft broke while driving
Hey everyone, my driveshaft broke and trashed my entire rear diff. I have a 6MT. If I buy an auto rear diff from the exact same model and year will it bolt right on?

Thanks, I don’t mind the shorter gears as my 1st gear synchros are shot haaha plus I don’t like how there’s no real torque with the manual diff

What I do know is that xDrive diffs, regardless of whether 6MT or auto, will bolt up. Not sure if RWD cars have a different input compared to xDrive. If they do, I’d imagine RWD/auto and RWD/6MT would be the same?

Maybe check on realoem.com. Compare things like the bolts etc (all the parts that bolt to the diff) from your car with an auto. Flange dia may also be listed.
