Thanks. It's just thr muffler delete for now, but I'm seriously contemplating headers.

Also, was just notified by Apex that the wheels I ordered are on backorder until MAY!!! I ordered some M3 control arms to console myself.

can I ask what head lights from Mars you got?... everything on their website says pre LCI fit only but yours is LCI

They're called Rolling Gears on eBay. They specify a pre-lci and an lci-version. I dont know if there really is a difference, though.

hmm yeah i just read the other thread about them in the lighting forum... i wonder cause on mars performance you can add hid/xenons for another $200 and i wonder if the beams are more level... or are the rolling gears ones the same exact thing

Update:

Not too much has changed. I got the M3 control arms in the mail, waiting for a suitable day for an installation party at my buddy's house. I may put an E93 M3 swaybar in at the same time, so I'm on the lookout for one of those.

I also started ordering the parts for the 3 Stage Intake conversion. I have the manifold and the big DISA and the necessary bolts. I still need the little DISA and the gasket. If anyone has the little DISA hit me up!

I priced out the M3 fenders and skirts, was quoted 925 for the parts with paint. We'll see, that's a bit more than I'm looking to spend right now.

The only real change is one that you cant even see, really. I swapped my headlights out with replacements that I got after complaining about the errors to the seller. So far, these new lights are functioning properly. No problems with cold mornings or the wet. It poured all night long last night, and all is well.

Nice, I'm jelly that you can add M3 suspension goodies.

The 3SIM is a nice upgrade. I thought about doing it but when the SC got into my head I then asked around and I found out the gains would be very marginal. I like what you've done so far. I would say screw the fenders. Get an M-Sport rear bumper with the iS Diffuser (or Duke's Dynamics) and maybe the M3 side skirts. Can't wait to see what you do for wheels.

Here is a photoshop. If I hadn't done all OEM M3 I without a doubt would have gone with this rear.

Yeah, from what I've read the 3IM isn't very useful with the SC kit. As for the Mtech rear, it's on the list. I want to run dual exhuast, not quads, though. My buddy has that same DD diffuser, it has not held up well over time. It's yellowing and cracking like crazy. The main reason that I was looking at fenders and skirts first is the price. The fact that nobody makes a rep rear bumper for E91's means you gotta go OEM. And that means the bumper with he diffuser I want and then redoing my exhaust will be way more than 925. I do want it though, lol.

The wheels I ordered are the Apex Arc-8 17x9, but they're backordered til May. So I'm patiently impatiently waiting. Lol.

And you can't do the M3 suspension stuff because you have an xi? I guess I knew that, but never really put it together with you. That's kind of a bummer.

Those ARC-8 wheels are some of my favorites, nice choice.

Nope... Xi problems.

Look on eBay, the OEM M Sport rear bumper for E91 is $390 shipped brand new... they usually sell for $550 or more. Also on eBay there is an exact plastic replica of the OEM Performance diffuser for $199 shipped. Add paint and its not so bad. You can weld an OEM 335i used exhaust on your car for cheap.

Thanks!

About the 335 exhaust, can I really? I'm wondering about pipe routing, wagons are a little different than sedans underneath, right?

I wouldn't think so. All the other dimensions are basically the same. Body panels are a different story though. Next time your car is in the air snap a picture of the rear bottom side. I have a few of when I was installing my diff + axle to compare to.

Hey I'm sorry I just realized I kind of mislead you because I was thinking of what is capable rather than with a budget. The wagons and sedans are the same. If you look underneath you will find the charcoal canister and the exhaust in the same place. The difference is between 335i and 328i models. That difference is that the floor bucket and corresponding exhaust shields are shaped differently. Because of the depth of that bucket on a 328i, it limits you to what you can route. So there are two options as I know it for getting a dual pipe exhaust. Before anything first get your bumper painted and installed. The first is swapping out the bucket and slightly relocating the charcoal canister (much easier than you think, no extensions necessary). Then you can add a custom exhaust or even just the 335i one. That is relatively easy but you will need the bucket and the trunk floor and have someone do a little custom welding under there. The second is simply routing around the bucket right beneath the edge of the bumper to get to the other pipe exit in the bumper. It is more of a superficial pipe than a functional pipe.

Note: the floor buckets are the same across all E9Xs... its just dependent on whether it has a single pipe or a dual pipe (not tips)

Option 1:

Option 2:

Yeah, the bucket is what I was referring to as being different. Thanks for that, I see it's a 328 vs 335 issue, not a wagon vs sedan issue. That makes more sense. I dont think I can go with option 2, because my hitch is right where the pipe would need to cross over. I'm also skeptical that the hitch will work with the mtech rear and diffuser at all. I'd hate to have to trim a CF diffuser, and I need the hitch. I'll figure something out, though.

Strange that CF front lip is a bit wider than bumper.
What are the part # of air ducts?

Curt hitch problems

I have a 06 Wagon with the curt hitch installed and have had some issues with it scraping the ground entering driveways. I have lowering springs (1.5"Fx1'R)and have not installed them because of this. Have you had any problems with this

No, I had a pretty good drop on my coilovers, I scraped quite a bit, but the hitch is fine. Maybe a tiny bit of scrape, but nothing to be concerned about.
