Original transmission fluid at 195k

Should i change the fluid and filter on my e90 328xi with 195k on original fluid and filter or is there no real point at this mileage?

Honestly I would. I just changed mine at 119000 and it made a big difference. I even did it twice and even the second flush there was a noticeable improvement.

Is the car in good shape otherwise? Are you noticing any problems with the transmission currently?

If you feel any problems shifting then it may be best to leave it alone...changing the fluid is only a small risk, but there is some risk that any problems will get worse afterwards.

If it still feels good then there shouldn't be any harm in doing it. If it's otherwise in good shape and you plan to keep it for a while then it might be worth changing it.
