Liquid-Moly no longer LL-01 certified?
A quick look at their site has them shifting their descriptions on their recommended oils from "Approved" to "Liqui-Moly recommends" -- ie. similar to Redline claims, etc. I think I saw a notation about May 2018 (possibly their expired cert date?).
Anyone have any insight? https://www.liqui-moly.com/en/servic...8184b2522d188/ https://products.liqui-moly.com/spec...l-5w-30-1.html https://products.liqui-moly.com/leic...h-5w-40-3.html |

I’d strongly consider Pennzoil Euro 5W-40 with the Ferrari logo.
My UOAs came out as good as they can be. I had higher iron wear with Redline. |

Anything that is Porsche A40 certified and ACEA A3/B4 is good enough for our cars. BMW has phased out the LL-01 certification anyway in favor of their new FE standards and 0w30 oils.
