N52 afe magnum force stage 2 intake

Is anyone familiar with this intake on the n52? I’m installing it on my buddy’s car but having a problem booking up the filter hose to the throttle body adapter.

I’m about an inch or two from setting the filter hose flush on the throttle body adapter.

My question is.. do I need to use a stock oem hose piece that connects to the throttle body than put the adapter on or does the adapter sit flush on the throttle body cause if it does I can’t get it flush I’m thinking I’m suppose to use part of the stock oem hose.

Any insight?

Still having an issue... I can get it in “pretty good” but like I’m that other thread the guy says he screws the clamp down and the hose pops out. Similier to my issue. Fitmint on this unit has not been very good.

Question - is the intake box even needed? Could I just run the intake filter/hose connected to throttle body? The MAF sensor plugs into that hose so not missing out on that. Kinda like the Bms dual cones for the n54
