WTB: LSD

Looking for an LSD for small bolted 335i diff.
If anyone is selling, or selling soon, let me know.

Would look at Wavetrac/Quaife/MFactory.
Would also consider M3 one if it came with driveshafts and propshafts for the right price.

They send it off to a diff specialist, so you're just paying them to pull the pumpkin out and put it back in. They recommended to me to go straight to a diff specialist.

Why has the Quaife in particular caught your eye?

From my research Quaife has a better track record re reliability and performance, also the teeth geary thing that provides the traction thing is a unique offset mechanism which apparently is a good thing. Plus their name starts with a Q which is awesome!! Hope this technical explaination clears up any questions you may have Harmsy

By the way - have you found any diff specialist that can do this change over that you would recommend (in Melb)

Thanks

Sorry I haven't looked into it yet.

I'm actually keen to hear peoples thoughts on good places in Melb to install diffs.

Haha the technical explanation is soooo clear!

So what makes them better than Wavetrac? I haven't heard anything bad about them, and they're cheaper.
