Vibration when coasting

Was doing some work on a friend's E90 this weekend and she asked me to test drive it because it made a noise during braking. When I took it out for a test drive, the entire car would shake anytime I was off the throttle (I am assuming she just never coasts, so only feels it during braking).

Anytime the car was coasting, it felt like I was driving over a rumble strip. I checked the suspension and all looked good. I am thinking it has to be drivetrain related because the second i would give any throttle it drove normally.

09 328 xDrive, Auto. I hooked up to ISTA and found a speed sensor problem but there was no suggested course of action shown, and the issue said that it happened at like 500km, but the car doesnt have nearly that many miles on it, so it didnt really make sense.

Google searches for the error code a lot of people mention dash lights being on, but there are none on.

Stumped! Any ideas?
