I'm really sorry for longing this out guys, it's not even my fault, Work Wheels and my supplier have screwed me around real good and are dragging it on as long as they can.
The centre caps I wanted were not the ones sent, and the correct ones have arrived but are stuck in customs and I don't even know if they will be with me by the weekend. The wheels would have been fitted TWO WEEKS AGO if people would learn to read and do their jobs properly Oh and just to vent some frustration, if the supplier cared about having top-level customer service, the wheels would have been fitted 4 weeks ago

I don't want to name them at this point because they haven't deliberately done anything wrong and are still doing the (bare minimum) necessary, but there is so much that they could have done to make the whole experience 100 times better.
Lazy and minimum-effort seems to be their customer service ethic. They do get things sorted, when pushed to, but all I can say is that if it was my company I'd get them all on a very serious customer-services training course so they can find out what to do to make up for mistakes and lost time, and how to keep a customer up to date via email after he has asked dozens of times for them to do that for over 12 weeks now. The wheels were meant to be with me by the end of May according to the time quoted before I handed over my money, but Work Wheels didn't have them produced until the end of May. They could have arrived in the first week of June therefore, but the supplier didn't want to pay for an expedited delivery solution which they offered to me for a pretty large sum and I turned down because it was 10% of the cost of the wheels. Personally, if it were my business, I'd offer to pay at least half of the cost since it has gone over the quoted maximum wait time, if not all of it, but they made me wait 2 weeks to arrange a palette before they shipped. I then received the wheels, finally, 3 weeks after they were completed at the factory. When I opened them, loved them, checked condition, all good. Then I checked the accessories boxes: WRONG centre caps after I told them which ones I want from the beginning AND bugged them to check them with Work Wheels around mid-May. Then, after reading a disgruntled email from myself, they called me and said that it was all down to communication quality with Japan and they will sort it very quickly. That was Friday the 19th. You'd think the caps should leave Japan on Monday morning, right? Since I had expressly stated which caps I want since Day 1 and it is clearly in the email trail? No, they faffed around asking me which ones and "is this them" etc etc as if I had never given the info in the first place. Fair enough you need to check if you don't already know, but I ALREADY SAID WHICH ONES I WANT in March! It's NOT difficult! The caps left Japan on Wednesday last week. Still not here due to transit times and delay in Customs. Pee'd off is an understatement. I get that they were delayed at factory, but after that it is all about customer service and making up for lost time - or at least minimising it.

Ok, so I finally received the damn centre caps on Friday and fitted the wheels to the car on Friday evening. Took a few shots on my phone over the weekend, looking forward to taking pics on a DSLR (or let others do it at the upcoming shows haha)
Here are a few pics to show what they're like:

Ah now that's differentI do like that colour combo, though I'm not one for the stretched tyre thing the effect is so damn striking I really do like it. It works so well with Red too it shouldn't but it does. Look forward to seeing this one in the flesh soon

It certainly does in mine! So show-wise, I've got Gaydon on 16 August and that German v Japanese on 30 August. Any others I should book in? Also going to Trax at Silverstone this Sunday, hopefully on the stand with my local group.

Think BMW Gaydon will be the next one we're both likely to be at. Hoping to get up to Fitted at the end of this month but it's far. Then Players at North Weald, Forge at Castle Combe etc.

Those are some lovely wheels. Fair play for trying the bronze too, I think it just about works with the red. Need to blacken the tailpipes I reckon to avoid the bronze/ chrome clash?
