Exhaust setup for more sound!!!

Hi I'm a student who just got a e93 335i I think it already has the PE but I really want it louder cuz I just love hearing that i6 note, what's the best way to add volume for not too much money? I already did a dual cone intake and golf tee mod. Next I'm thinking cowl delete or amplifying exhaust tips. Not very into deleting cats

Better you search or ask your question in the N54/N55 mods section under the E90 / E92 / E93 3-series Powertrain and Drivetrain Discussions.
Whichever N54 or N55 applies to you.

N54 Turbo Engine / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications - 335i

N55 Turbo Engine Tuning and Exhaust Modifications - 335i Tuning

Exhaust tips aren't going make it louder.. lol. You're much better off just getting rid of the muffler if you really want it louder.

It doesn't have the PE exhaust, if you had to do the golf tee mod. The PE mufflers don't have a flap in the driver's side.

If you have black tips, you might have 335is mufflers which should extremely similar to the PE.

So, if you want more sound, do a secondary cat delete with Vibrant 1792 HF Resonators

Get some PE mufflers. There's a guy on this forum selling an entire PE set up, pipes included for $500.00, but you'd have to go to NY.

Last, catless downpipes with an MHD tune.

You'd have to do a laundry list of items before you can add MHD without too many hi-cups. On a student budget, that might break the bank.
