HPFP Question

My 335i went into limp mode yesterday under hard acceleration. No warning light came on but I have a pending code P142E. Couple of questions. Is the code for the HPFP or a sensor to the pump. The fuel pump was replaced under the recall in Feb. 2011. Worst case, if it needs replacing again am I covered? Thanks for any input.

Took the car to Wide World BMW yesterday expecting the worst. I've had two bad experiences there in the past. HPFP and LPFP sensor were bad. The HPFP is being replaced under recall at no charge. This is the second HPFP to be replaced, thought they'd give me a problem.
