How shitty of a job was getting out the old bushings? I did a subframe bushing swap on my 300zx and it was a pain in the balls. If someone had a sub-frame and the bushings already installed on that for $400 I probably would have done that in a heartbeat. But I also had to burn the old bushings out and use a number of different methods like using a hole saw or just drilling 100 smaller holes in the old rubber to finally get the bastard out.

Once enough rubber was removed you could then take a reciprocating saw and cut through the 1/8" or so metal cup/ring that was pressed into the subframe. Then you could chisel and bend the ring out lol

Putting the bushing back in was actually the easy part on the 300zx

It's a huge pain in the ass, without a lift it took me 8hrs+ in my garage.

These were pressed in by a shop and never installed as I decided moving to aluminum wasn't worth the upgrade over my current Poly bushings (I'm lazy)
