I swap out for another set of bulb...
GP Plasma 8500K IMO.. this is ever better then that MTEC.. Mtec got a bit bluish tint to it.. this got a bit more Purple... but its much whiter then Mtec.

These are dimmer then Mtec.. because of the higher color temp... but thats better.. I think Mtec is too bright... and someone else comment it overflow to the inner projector... make them almost looks like its on when its not...
They are all H8 and 35Watt. If you stay with in the same wattage.. no error should occur.. these are not HID bulb.. just regular bulb...

Also--can these be used on the fog lights? Or did you keep the MTEC b/c they were brighter? Thanks Shinchan!

Ok so i have been following this thread since day one.
Here are my questions: Which bulbs should i get to get the most blue out of them? I am watching about 5 auctions in My Ebay and really don't know which one to choose. I want the one with the most light output and more blue color in it... There's the Mtec Super Whites. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4543509&rd=1,1 There's the Mtec Cosmos Blue http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2877023&rd=1,1 There's the GP Thunder 8500 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2159729&rd=1,1 And then there's the xenon h8 bulbs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8498960&rd=1,1 So i'm really confused as to which ones to get... You see i want the angel eyes to stand out at night as well while my regular lights (xenons) are on. And if the xenons are white and the Angels are white as well then they wont really stand out like the original yellow ones... So i figure if you go with something more blue for the Angels then your more likely of seeing them in the night time while your driving and your lights are on Can anyone help me out here... And i will be switching out the original xenons to 6000k d1s bulbs. |

The Xenons have a blue-ish tint, don't they? They are not purely white--so if you are wanting the Angels to stand out--keep them bright white. The slight difference will make them show up nicely, I would think.
If you were get the Cosmos for the Angels--it might be too much. You could always try both, post some pics and ask people's opinions? That might help--but IMO the whites will look the best for the Angels.
