It was put to me on the bimmerfest site that there is no advantage, with that in mind I purchased the vrsf intake charge pipe with the standard original set up, I'm wondering if I have made the best choice ?

The original valves will leak, trust me.
I did the exact same thing, and it was a mistake. I probably shaved a few years life off my turbos flogging them day after day while they spun around furiously charging air back into the atmosphere for no gain at all... |
