Hi

Not sure if i should be posting here but i need some help. Recently, due to my heavy foot after acquiring my Jb4, i have been switching it to map 8. When i try to switch out to map 5 or map 2 while driving, it'll throw codes and the won't feel powerful at all. Even if i put it back to the stock map, i feel a major power loss. The only way for me to change it is to have to change it to the stock map, shut off the car, and let it sit until the computer shuts off. Anyone have any advice?

I think this is normal. From what I've read, the car needs to be restarted after using map 8. Otherwise you'll get that reduced power warning.
