Yours is on Page 23. I don't think we are looking at the same magazine. On the cover there is a red M6

Page 2 has a tracked M3 but not yours

Tony scan Joel's pic and post?

I just built a 'very lightly' optioned Cayman S and it came up to 80k. I am sure it can go all the way up to 120k.

My 3 is worth what 25k? Ok, will have to pass.

Is that your IC? If so then sure, why not. Just looks a bit ugly. Did you run over a squirrel? heh

Oh. Yeah sure, it's fine, so long as there are no holes in it.

Most of the air filters you'll see on the 335s look like this because they rub against the turbo inlet piping, so it's nothing to worry about - once again, as long as there are no holes.

Since this is the place to ask questions... and answers magically appear...

Now that my car is parked till March, and there is no power outlet close enough to power a small battery trickle charger/tender, would a power pack of some kind be a solution to get electricity to my car?

Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks.

I pull my battery from the car and keep in the house on a rubber mat while attached to my battery tender. When the HP spirits call to me and the roads are dry, I bolt her back in and rip tear through Rigaud, Vaudreuil and Dorion boonies.

I just start my car every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I move it so that the tires don't get any flat spots and to just lit it in gears and have them move as well.

I don't turn on my alarm as that really drains the batter and just leave it in my garage.

Oh and of course I put fuel stabilizer on my last has fill up before storage and drove the car for a bit so the stabilizer can go through the engine (injectors etc...).

You can always just unplug the battery and bring it indoors close to an outlet. As per the suggestion to start the car every week or so, if you’re not going to drive it then its actual worse than just leaving it.

Before I stored it I added stabilizer to the fuel and had bmw change the oil but not add the last half litter of oil as I will pour it in come April or May right before I start the car. The logic behind this is that cold starts are where the most wear occurs.

No need to keep the other sh*t powered. Pull the battery, bring inside, throw her in a closet with the battery minder. If the car is in doors above zero, perfect, else just top off your tank. I dont even bother with stabilizer. Our gas tanks are plastic, so no corrosion.

Never used stabilizers, been doing this for the last 5 years. Just set the tires at 40 psi and move the car every now and then. i won't even bother with the battery trickle charger. I'll use it to top off, a few days before using the car in the spring.

I'm waiting on some parts to fix a crank seal leak and aero addons, exhaust upgrade, ECU tap for data logging. Maybe squeak in dyno for tuning if I can before the snow ruins things. Me thinks I am running too rich which might explain why I keep blowing up my exhaust ...
