crankshaft position sensor or something else?
My car keeps going into limp mode. Engine and transmission malfunction, DBC,DSC and start off assistance pops up. It will come and go. I will turn off the car and back on and it will reset but it's been happening the last couple days. Yesterday it happen going to work, I turned off the car and back on and it had a longer crank. today it happen and it didn't have a long crank after resetting the car I used a generic code scanner and got p0335 and p1727. Crankshaft position sensor is the p0335.
Is it the crankshaft position sensor or something else please help!

Yeah unfotuntely with these cars you will need something that can read specifically.
Thankfully you don't need to spend to much though, just 20$ for a K+DCAN cable and you already own a laptop you can install BMW software. |

Thanks for the reply much appreciated. I just have to buy the cable and install bmw software. Just from what I was saying do u think it could possible be the crankshaft position sensor? I'm going to bmw dealership to buy the sensor, I can return it if I don't use it but just from what I say what do u think it could be? Thanks again
