The RealOEM site lists 2 options for the 2011 335ix vent hose; one for vehicles with blow-by heater (S4NEA=Yes) and one for vehicles without (S4NEA=No). The dealer looked up the part by the VIN which showed it was Vent Hose 11-12-7-590-163 for vehicles without the blow-by heater.

The first picture below is the part that came off my car.

The second picture is what the part the dealer sold me looked like. I didn't take a picture of the actual part. I pulled the metal pieces out of my old part to illustrate what it looked like.

The third picture is the electrical connections in my old part. The new part had the plastic protrusion for the connection cable but no electrical connections inside the plastic.

I'm pretty sure my car had the blow-by heater part but I installed the new one anyway and haven't had any problems so far.
