Check, as wen I was with Direct Line a few years ago, unless you applied for a green card you were only covered 3rd party !

I'm with BMW Insurance and they didn't charge for the Green Card.

Im insured with Norwich Union/Aviva - rang them today to inform them im driving to Germany and they said everything was already in place and i am insured fully comp to drive over there. I then asked specifically about a green card and they said it wasnt needed for the countries im traveling through/to etc.

I wouldn't mind borrowing a camera for a lap off someone if possible. See how 130i footage differs from M3 and 335 footage (apart from obviously being a tad slower on the straight bits!).

Can't bloody wait - am bring a friend along as passenger who has never been before so should be some good apres-track beerage too I hope!

iPhone weather for Nurburg (Yahoo) shows 16 degrees and rain on Friday and then sunny with light clouds for Saturday(14 degrees) and Sunday (16 degrees).

Last year it was literally sunny at one end and raining at the other, so let's all remain optimistic!

Just had my BMW Performance quickshift fitted which is awesome although I prefer the standard gearknob and gaiter, so if anyone wants to buy a BMW Performance knob and alcantara gaiter I'll bring it with me!

Look forward to seeing some of you at the weekend, I've now got laps with 2 members cars to capture, I wont mention names ;-)

Anyone in an M3 fancy me as a passenger with a 1080p Video Camera ?

Whats the deal with passenger laps?

Do you contribute to the lap cost?

If you come in my car Will, you'll have to pay for the whole Ring trip.

That shouldn't really be a problem, the rubber gimp suit seems to hold most things in.

If you notify your insurance company that you are traveling abroad with the dates that you travel, then you are covered fully comp.

No notification = 3rd party.

EDIT. The guy's going through Calais.

What time do you think you'll be crossing the French/ Belgian border ??
Maybe I'll convoy with you for a while,If it's not too early.

Hi Guys,
I am going to be coming out to the Ring on the Sunday but probably wont make it round till the free lapping session on the Monday afternoon. Is anyone going to be left for the Monday session or have you all gone home? First time with the M3 so should be interesting.
Cheers Guys
