Procede, updating help, Bricked?

I know the procede is outdated and everything, but maybe somebody can help. I have a 2011 bmw 335i n55 harness a, and installed the procede v5 rev2.5. Problem is the car won't start(just cranks and throws a bunch of codes), and when I try to connect to the procede via laptop the map loads to 100% but then freezes. The coms is setup correctly and I have the latest driver for the radio shack usb to serial adapter. I'm using windows 7 32bit netbook. I have tried a different laptop and it's the same issue, so I'm guessing the procede firmware. Any ideas where I should start. Thanks

Make sure you have the right map for your setup (harness A vs harness B). I had the same problem when I tried to load a map a few years ago, just cranked. It has been a while, I'm currently overseas and don't have my car.

Where can I get a harness A map?

Honestly man, I don't know. This was a few years ago when shiv was still supporting the n55, coming out with new maps every couple of weeks. You can try and email those guys, but it's a crapshoot if they will get back to you
