Service Manual ?

I just got my 07 335i e92 hit in the front and it busted the valve cover on the front , cant tell if they cut the timing chain out of the way , or it was broken in the accident? im scared shitless it messed something up bad . Just looking for a service manual to go ahead and see what will have to be doen to change the timing chain , pull the head? It sure looks like it ......... Done got the engine/tranny pulled out But im unsure where to start .

Whats the probability that the engine would be shot ? I mean i know in 90% of the cars out there in a wreck if the timing chain breaks , it just breaks , But on the Subaru's (interface engines) they have it where if the timing belts breaks the valves drop and hit the pistons (sometimes) . I have Searched and searched and searched and cant find anything .

BTW the wreck is very repairable i have been doing it for 10+ years (since i was about 11) And my dad 20+ years andwe have rebuilt alot of cars , but this is my 2nd BMW . Got this car very reasonable and plan on keeping it for a very long time . My first bmw was a e46 330ci , nice but kinda slow for my taste , e92 looks to be way more spacious in the front cabin and feels like it will ride much better , if it will run .

Any help would be appreciated .

Seems like the manual is up to 2007, don't see 2008 listed yet.

Thanks for the info about Ebay, very helpful!

Anyone else order one of these?

I got my first one but it was scratched all up so he sent me another one with the same results . So now he swears to burn me a fresh copy and put it in a hard plastic case . Because he was shipping them in the paper cases causing them to be blurry or scratched up when i got them .

just put in an order....have you received your none scratched copy? are these copied from the original BMW shop manual? or are these originals period? either way, for $15 I'd give it a shot. I need tightening torque numbers so this should help. also hope it provides great details for install/removal procedures.

I have been looking for any sort of manual for months now, I used to go with Bentley Publishers but when I talked to them they didn't have anything out for our cars yets since so new.

thanks for hooking this link up!!!

I have ordered one of these DVD manuals, but I would also be VERY interested in a third party manual in book form - like a Bentley manual etc. Is there some reason why there doesn't seem to be anything available for the E90's yet ? do they wait until the 4-year original maintenance from BMW is over before these become available ? Anybody have any information on this ?

Would be nice if someone would post it (DVD) online. Would get hundreds of questions answered. Because I think paying even $20 for something pirated is a rip off

I have an 05 build e92, got the DVDs, and found out that some of the manuals do NOT cover my car. For example, the EWS disk is dated late last year, and show wiring info that is very clearly not what I have.
I suspect that most of the info is valid, and could be very useful. But be careful as some definitely is not valid.

I too am anxiously waiting to get a proper service manual and wiring diagrams and schematics.

Why buy a DVD off ebay? They're pirated copies anyway so it's like you're playing it legal. Might as well just download and save yourself the hassle. All the BMW service DVDs are on Pirate Bay for your BitTorrenting pleasure.
