Has anyone tried a Motorolka KRZR (which is supported on the AT&T list) on the Verizon network? The RAZR is supported on Verizon, so I'd be surprised if the KRZR didn't work as well, but then again it's not on the supported list.
My Verizon LG vx9800 works for calls, but no phonebook transfer. |

I want to report my Sprint Sanyo SCP-8400 seems to work great. Incoming calls, no problem.
I can dial via my phone book or by number dialing via the iDrive. It seems to work great. Phone Software version 1.007SP |

For those of you having problems with transferring the phonebook with the new Nokia phones, there might be a solution!
On a dutch forum I found a thread on the Nokia E65. 2 People succesfully transferred their phonebook after installing a piece of software: Nokia_810_Contacts_Sync.sisx link: http://europe.nokia.com/A4143881 I wasn't able to test it myself, as I just sold my E65 2 months ago... |

I did NOT read thru every page but I did do a search and wasnt able to find much help. I have a 07 328i with prem pack. I own a blackberry 8300 (Curve) on a company BES. I was able to send my entire contact list over I can make calls and receive calls no problem. I have the signal bars also.
The only problem is that when making a call I try to dial by name and I was not able to. I had to record each name. Is this cause I do NOT HAVE NAV? My cuz has a X5 with nav and he also has a blackberry and he is able call any name with OUT traning his X5. I found a thread on here somwhere that suggested that was the problem me not have nav but im still unsure. Thanks in advance |

Just received a Nokia E61 on Friday and I have successfully paired it to the car. However, after it pairs it never does connect. No signal meter shows up and all calls come to the phone still. I kinda had a feeling that it wouldn't work, even before a bought it, but I still wanted it!
However, this is probably the most impressive phone I have owned. I can use it as a phone with no comprimises...handset, speakerphone, headset, text messages, and more are all working perfectly. The email capability it amazing, allowing me to stay connected to BlackBerry Connect and MS Exchange push email simultaneously. The coolest part...I am making FREE VOIP/Wifi calls using the wireless access on this phone (and it is nearly crystal clear too)! Heck, for now I'll do without BT in the car to use everything this phone came with. Maybe just a cheap phone to leave in the car only might be ok with another line. |

Bluetooth pairing
Hi, I have a Samsung SCH-a870. My 2006 bmw 330xi recognizes it and puts it on the iDrive panel. I put in the code for both (I make up a number and put it in both) - but my phone can't connect. My phone knows the BMW is there and the BMW says my phone is there, they both show up on each other's screens, but my phone, at the final step, doesn't "connect"....
Any ideas....I know it's technically not a compatible phone per the BMW website, but my previous phone was not compatible either, and it worked just fine with the BMW blue tooth. Could REALLY use some help!!!! Please! Thanks Papa1 |

Just wanted to update this thread about the new Verizon LG VX 8550 Chocolate. Even though it is not on the official list of approved phones per BMW, it pairs flawlessly and phonebook downloads with no problems.

Just picked up the Motorola RAZR 2 at the Verizon Store. Integrated flawlessly with the bluetooth. Phonebook transferred over no problem.

[QUOTE=bimmerFUD;1362914]I just got the Motorola KRZR K1 under T-mobile and it does not pair  Anyone else have any luck with this phone? I love it otherwise. My older Motorola V330 pairs up just fine.
My dad's phone KRZR K1 from Rogers works well expect fails to display call waiting when on a call...Ph book and paring works prefectly.. |

That is the one thing that it doesnt do. All I get is the beep that there is another call, but no number is displayed.
