I'm sorry mate but that's like saying that prefacelift and facelift e46's or e9x's are both 3 series BMW's so just buy the cheaper one.

Most people buy after market wheels because they are aesthetically pleasing. Very few buy them for functionality. As such the slightest difference in design can mean you either love or hate a specific wheel.

If you want a wheel very similar to a VMR V701 then you go an Advan RS but it has advan racing printed on it which i personally think would look cheap on a BMW.



At the end of the day if i had the opportunity to purchase my wheels for 1800 with tyres I would have pounced on it.

The comment about the wheels being used is valid if they have scratches and rash all over them but if they are unmarked or have very small blemishes that are easy to fix then why does it matter?

by the time you factor in shipping you could've bought new VMRs which are relatively inexpensive in the states anyway
