Sometimes it's happening all the time. If that's the case, you may consider a valve job. Pretty rare really to have to get a valve job on an N engine. This guy does tons of videos on all kinds of Oil. You be the judge. I know when I put Ceretec in my engine, ticking went away, and it runs smoother. |

I6TT that sounds basically like my car everything was changed at 50k, I've driven it 8k miles so far, and I love it over my V8 audis by a huge margin! So would you guys at mileage like me 142k think upgraded turbos is a good idea or bad idea?

There's a guy with a single turbo vert on here that dos the ST at 230k. All was fine until he ran lean during tuning and blew the Engine. I'm at 160k on one original turbo (one was done under warranty) and was on original injectors until 157k. Tuned since brand new and runs like a champ!

picked up a 2013 335is w/90(!)K miles on it for a pretty incredible price. So far no problems and 2 mechanics cant believe it has the miles on it. Not a DD, turning it into a track monster, its kush days being softly commuted by a pansie are over.

I've an early build '07 335 E90 with 108k currently. Turbos were replaced under warranty at 40k, water pump/T-stat went at 90k, just replaced coils/plugs and crank sensor.
No issues with HPFP at all. Injectors are original. Been running map 5 JB since around 50k. I suspect the intake valves need to be cleaned as I'm sure it's never been done. Hth, -weq |

175k here, DD, 80 miles daily.
FI index 10 or higher, on 2nd rebuilt turbos (done by Pure - wastegates & linkage upgraded). First rebuild was garbage and didn't last. Do all maintenance myself, don't trust any of the shops in the area. |
