Could make all the other 4x4's a bit underpowered. Is this the engine which will end up in the R8?

I believe the R8 diesel is having the V12 that's going in the Q7.

I think the toureg is a heavy car as the ML ive bought will do 0-62 in 6.5 secs and its ONLY got 306bhp and 516lbft

Yep .. r8 will get a v12 diesel.

They have a V10 in the pipeline, however it keeps seting on fire!

Ive never heard of a V12 pertol version.

Big fan of the facelifted Touaregs (with larger wheels) full stop. Disguise their bulk very well, as does the Merc ML for that matter, but not so the new X5 IMHO - looks huge compared to its predecessor! Still looks good though...

I'd like a big 4x4 but not sure I could stomach the running costs, but there you go.
