$15000 to fix engine per dealer (Options) PLS ADVISE

What are my options, my engine has gone bye bye according to the dealer and will cost $15000 to fix. My insurance won't cover. Trying to see what Gap insurance will do, but it that is a no go, what are my options, can I still buy an extended warranty? Car is a 2007 BMW 335i E92 with 45000 miles.

You need more details from the dealership as to what went out and everyone on here would want to know. Best option would be to buy a used engine online for about 4k and have an indy shop install for about 2-3k.

Get a lawyer, car should have been fixed under warranty. See link.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
