E90 Suspension Refresh
I'm looking in to the possibility of refreshing the suspension on our 2007 E90 330i (N52) M Sport and I have a couple of questions?
1. Does anyone have a definitive list of parts to order Front and Rear (OEM or OEM Equivalent) i.e bushes, arms spring pads etc? 2. What is the difference in ride if I switch to bilstiens whilst retaining stock springs. I don't want it lower! |

I can answer #2 for you:
I have installed B4's in our E46 and E60. After break in they ride a little better than stock (better rebound control). They are not stiffer. I installed B6's in our M Roadster (Z3). Just better all around on the street; very happy with this setup. Not the best track setup IMHO. My E90 m-sport won't need refreshing for a while. When it does I will go with B6's. |

This is what I fitted to my E91 M-sport when I did a suspension refresh. I took the opportunity to fit Powerflex bushes, M3 front arms and a Bilstein B12 kit, which might not be relevant to you but the standard ARB links and spring/damper mountings are listed:
Bilstein B12 Pro kit 46-180599 Powerflex bushes: 2 x PFF5-4602-26.5 2 x PFR5-4609-13 10 x PFR5-411 4 x PFR5-412 2 x PFR5-413 2 x PFR5-414 2 x PFR5-415 2 x PFR5-420 2 x PFR5-422 2 x PFR5-425 1 x PFR5-426 E90 M3 front lower control arms (bushes come pre-installed): 1 x TRW JTC1423 1 x TRW JTC1424 1 x TRW JTC1426 1 x TRW JTC1427 1 x BMW 37142283867 (regulating rod for front headlight vertical aim control sensor) Front & rear ARB drop links: 1 x LEMFÖRDER 2993401 1 x LEMFÖRDER 3536401 2 x LEMFÖRDER 3536501 Replacement spring/damper mounting parts: 2 x SPRING PAD UPPER - BMW 31336767500 2 x SPRING PAD LOWER - BMW 31336764372 2 x Repair kit for support bearing - BMW 31352405884 2 x Upper spring plate - BMW 31336764093 2 x Repair kit for support bearing - BMW 33522406280 2 x SPRING PAD LOWER - BMW 33536764420 2 x SPRING PAD UPPER - BMW 33536764419 2 x Spring pocket - BMW 41147057297 2 x LEMFÖRDER 3539801 Last edited by gaz_ball; 03-26-2019 at 08:32 AM.. |

Springs depends on vehicle options. The D Number should be on a little white label attached to the springs. |
