Wow that is fantastic. Very similar to what I want to do with mine.

I've got to ask- Why the iDrive retrofit? Why not retrofit a more modern BMW system instead? I gave up the color choice on my car to find a manual, rwd, sport, heated seats, sedan... There just aren't may out there. Curious why you'd want to swap in the clunky old iDrive though!
Well, I found a parts car that had CCC iDrive and thought it would be a great learning experience to swap everything into mine not to mention the fact that all the parts I needed were already there (mostly). It was a great learning experience, and in the future my plan is to upgrade again to CIC iDrive.

Very interested in how this looks on the brown leather. Glass black wrap is probably cheaper than aluminum....

Well, after much back and forth in my head about what to do, I decided I wanted to keep everything O.G.

I decided I am going to stick with the pre-lci m sport look, so I just installed my front bumper yesterday.

Repping the pre-LCI, I dig it!

Bold choice to stay pre-LCI, but damn that OG M-Sport front bumper looks great. Especially with the Euro headlights! And I love those wheels!

I wrestled with updating or staying original since day one. My car has the full pre-LCI AC Schnitzer aero, and it's paint matched perfect to the GSM. Not sure if that's "rare" or even desirable, but... That being said, I couldn't pass up some amazing deals over the last two years on everything I need for the update, so I'm going for it.

I'll need to paint though, and seeins as you had the right color LCI trunk... Any chance you've still got it?

Well, I finally did something I have been wanting to do since I purchased the car. I finally got rid of the grey upper interior and had my headliner re-done! I still need to source two pieces in black to complete the swap, but I am loving the all-black interior!

How did you have the headliner redone, OEM piece or fabric? Also, where did you source the pillars from?

Good job. Not sure why German car makers are so hung up on putting gray headliners in everything (except maybe to have the car appear roomier), but..I couldn't wait to swap the one in my old E46 out. Took an accident that made the air bags deploy to get er dun, but...replaced it with a black one...and loved it!

Fortunately, my E93 came with a black headliner...one of the reasons I started looking at verts.

I had it re-done in a black fabric that matched the OEM black color. I found someone parting out a E90 M3 so I grabbed all of the black interior stuff.

Also,

OEM blacklines

Well, I bought a set of TE37s. They came with racing slicks (which I will be removing and selling), but I wanted to do a test fit. What do you guys think of the black with yellow decal? Any other colors decals you guys would suggest?

Love it! Either red to match the tail lights or paint matched decal to SGM?!

So these TE37s originally came with red stickers, and the previous owner put yellow stickers on top of the red.

I have thought about the "sparkling graphite" matched stickers, but I think I will take the yellow ones off and try them red for a while. Thoughts?
