I am looking at the difference between the E90 set and E92, is it just spring rates?

The E90 have a 7k front spring rate while this set has 8k. The rears are the same. However, i'm not 100% sure if there are any other differences.

Why new end link? Because the mount is lower or higher on the strut?

These coilovers come with them brand new, however I did not have my stock ones when I swapped back to stock suspension. From what I was told, they are needed because they change the mounting location and help with camber plate adjustments.
