What kind of brake pads does the dealership use for the 2011 e92 335is? The previous owner said he always had it serviced at the dealer, and although the brakes are still good, I have never in my life seen so much brake dust accumulate so fast. It's pretty crazy honestly. I garage the car and drive it on Friday and Saturday. And they front wheels start turning gray within 2 weeks of a wash. So I guess that's 4-5 drives. Anyone else get a ton of brake dusk on they're front wheels?

Probably Textar pads that are rebadged as BMW. I use textars and the brake dust is nuts but the bite is nice.

Same. My first brake change on this car was with Centric branded and after install I felt like I had air in my brakes, bled the car 2 tiems didn't change.

Change brakes again year after and went with OE Textar and brake pedal feels like when I bought the car.

Hmm alright guess it's best to stick with stock then. It's a good thing our rims are already silver then right?

Holy mackerel that's clean AF! Loving the CF accents. Our cars are almost identical except I have the Turner high kick spoiler. You should look into the CF quad exhaust diffuser. That would be real clean looking.

Is it on stock springs? Looks low.

Thanks!
The car is stock height. I went up a size on the tires, so it gives it a illusion that the car is lower. Gotta improvise when you're on a budget lol

The forum keeps blocking me from giving a URL link. Either way, go to m-o-d-b-a-r-g-a-i-n-s (dot) com, and its the "carbon fiber rear diffuser quad for 06-13 BMW 3 series coupe w/ MTech bumper"

I'm waiting to install this and I'm about to order some Cyba quad tips in black chrome. You have to have an MTech rear bumper for that setup to work. If you have a 335is then your G2G.

That's the exact setup I want except with brushed tips. It's a little pricey though, i'm wondering how the ebay one fits.

I currently have black chrome cyba tips but feel like it's time for a change.

The site I got mine from offers them in CF and in gloss black. The black ones are $150 and the CF $550 I think. I went with the black ones.

Just added AKG aluminum monoballs in the front and ECS trailing arm with whiteline poly bushings in the rear.

For those of you who decide on the trailing arm bushings and own an E93, be prepared to drop your subframe to get them in.

Maverick,

I have this same car with 6sp manual. I drove cars with DCT and it works very well. Cannot attest to the reliability, but I think it comes down to what your prefer. DCT is faster and convenient if you think shifting in stop/go traffic is unpleasant. I prefer shifting myself so looked far and wide for a three pedal manual.

The ad looks like a nice car, and fairly priced for the mileage. Definitely get a PPI from an independent mechanic if you get serious about it.

Good Luck!

Do you rub in the rear with the 15mm spacers?

hey guys

recently purchased a 2011 335is DCT low mileage ... all i can say is WOW amazing car used to have a 2004 bmw 330i ZHP sedan few years back. great to be back in a bmw. i am sorry if i posted in the wrong thread. i have been reading through the threads for modification information but seems to be dated based on the rate of new products being released and tune software updates. i am looking to gather some experience information from 335is dct owners. vehicle is currently stock. iv purchased some products and was looking for information regarding the MHD flast tune.

Products purchased not yet installed

MMP outlets factory turbo mount
BMS elite charge pipe
BMS factory fit inlets
BMS E chassis replacement front mount intercooler (2019) revised design.
AFE DCI intake part number 51-11472
Spark plugs – ngk one range colder -stock #97968

vehicle is a daily driver 91oct only. not looking to dial the engine in any further mods wise. will be moving towards suspension components next. i have purchased the MHD wireless flasher. based on parts purchased i was interested to know if a custom was really needed ?? or will stage 1 91oct OTS MHD map be more then plenty for daily driver without causing any inconsistent drive-ability issues based on parts list being installed ?

thanks in advance for any advice, sorry again if im in the wrong thread.
