Sourcing a combox question

Hi,

Everything I’ve seen about combox retro fits says you need the BN2000, okay with that.
And threads also say for E series,
Now does this mean i can use one from a 5 series also?

That’ll help broaden my options in the UK hopefully on trying to find one at a good price.

I’ve got a 2010 July built 325d which has telematics and just the aux cable in the arm rest.

Yup no reason you cannot use a 5 series BN2000 Combox of the same vintage.
