To be honest if you don't have a pressure washer already I'm not sure it's really worth it, unless you have jet black because it likes to mar if you look at it the wrong way.

I have those parts connected to my electric karcher right now. It works.
I think Karcher calls them Bayonet style connectors.

The gun is ok if you just dont want to soap up the car by hand, you can definitely shoot some soap all over, but it won't be foamy lather like some of the videos online. |

If you guys want serious foam, buy the camspray foamer. This is the only foamer readily available in the US which works well. All the others are really just a waste of time. It's relatively expensive, but that's the cost of foaming! With a Karcher, you'll have to buy the adapters mentioned previously in this thread also.
Here's the link to the foamer: http://www.everypressurewasher.com/C...0-CAM1243.html

+1 I know the Camspray comes with a fitting that fits the coupler and adapter listed. I don't know about the others.

You still need to wash your car normally, it is not a substitute for washing your car at all. I have a small detailing business and this is a tool to help me save time and presoak REALLY dirty cars! |

To be honest, it's something you don't really NEED. It does help to remove some of the dirt, but if you don't have a power washer I would hold off until you have more funds available. I would take a CRC spotless over it anyday. With the nice sunny weather now I end up presoaking with the foam cannon and pulling the car in the garage to do ONR washes to prevent water spots.

I've got an electric Karcher power washer. Ordered these parts from pressure parts and received them today. There's the adaptor for the Karcher trigger gun (part 4762061), which hooks up correctly. However, the coupler (part 331212) will hook up to the Karcher trigger gun adaptor but not the foam cannon. I looked on presure parts and it appears the correct part number for the coupler is 331208PA. Does anyone know for sure?

The karcher brand one is pretty weak, I really want the autobrites one but thats only sold in the UK to my knowledge. The camspray looks like the next best thing though. PS. To those wondering if you can 'wash your car with the foamer and not have to use a mitt" think of a touchless automatic carwash... it doesn't remove built up dirt but if you wash frequently(twice a week) you can usually just foam and rinse and get the same results as a touchless automatic. If you really need to remove a lotstuff you'll have to go at it with a mitt. |

I think I've figured out the coupler I need from pressure parts to make the foam cannon adapt. It needs to be a 22mm to 1/4" coupler (part no. 331204).

I lucked out. I bought the last edtion of the Foam Lance and it was a direct plug and pay for my gas power wahser.
When you get into the smaller electric power washers you end up having connection problems.

Update to my previous post. My car REALLY needed a wash today. And I was anxious to use the foam cannon rather than wait another five days for the correct coupler (at least I think it is). So after a couple trips to Lowes and OSH, I managed to jerry-rig my own "coupler" and it worked great. Cost about $10 which is the same price as the correct part from pressureparts.com but without the wait. Admittedly, it's a bit longer and heavier as a result but the foam results were great. Here's some pics of my modified foam cannon and the result.

I followed your tip and used 3 oz. of CG MSII and warm water. Had the ratio all the way up but, after I blew through one bottle in no time, I turned it down a bit and I started getting more foam.
