Don't like headlights but the rest is very nice. Can't wait for the production version, BMW Z8. The Concept has one of these engines if any:
- TT 3.0l I6
- TT 4.4l V8
- NA 5.5l V10

Would love to see its CF folding hardtop. It looks like an answer to the Porsche 918 Spyder, and it would be one if it had a NA V10.

Haha. Sorry. I suppose I could have worded that a bit better, you'll have to excuse my half asleep self from this morning :P Allow me to clarify...

In my opinion the passenger seat shouldn't even exist in this concept. And, on top of that, the LCD readout all the way on the far side of the interior should be placed in the middle, pointed towards the driver. To me, putting the LCD there suggests that the driver doesn't have total control of the vehicle but must rely on the passenger (navigator?) for certain tasks. Like a Maverick and Goose sort of thing. Haha.

To me it looks like BMW tried to go for two things at once - driver experience, and entertainment experience. You can't really make a car like this that's so driver oriented, and then throw in Facebook and Twitter updates, which is what the whole "Connected Drive" thing is all about, from what I've seen.

the headlights dont fit the car at all...they look dated...kinda 80s if ya ask me...this concept needs the headlights from the M1 concept that came out a few years ago.

I hope the design makes it into other cars. I for one like the headlights. It pays homage to the past. No more BMW bloat. Someone photoshop a roof on that thing!
