Salvage CPO?

I dont know if this is the right area to post it but i have a salvage title e90 and i went into the dealership recently and got my battery replaced and they told me I had a CPO warranty till 100k miles. I had no idea and I'm pretty sure the guy I bought it off didn't know either. If they find out it's salvage will they revoke the warranty?

If they find out, they most probably will revoke it.

probably was a CPO.. some guy totaled it and fixed it.. BMW doesn't know..

BMW is supposedly not suppose to CPO cars that have been in any accidents...

Most likely what happened, I'll try and keep it under the radar.

I'm thinking you're under the "Maintenance Program" instead of CPO. Maintenance program should remain active regardless of title history.

It's quite possible the car was salvaged after CPO was granted, as the OP suggests. If so, I can't see why BMW NA would pull it--unless you had a specific problem that they traced to the reason for the car's salvage title. It's one thing, for example, if the car was just wrecked badly enough to total it, but the mechanicals and eletricals were unharmed. It's another if the car was flooded in water. So, I hope in your case it was just a bad accident and the dealer will never bother with questioning the warranty. It certainly would be hard to link, say, a water pump to the car's salvage status.

STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AND GET SHIT DONE ASAP!!! I wouldn't even post this up and would just pretend i have CPO and get everything done. Worst case scenerio they find out and revoke it. Your lucky!!

On another note my cousin bought a 35k E46 M3 couple years back supposedly CPO and when he went for some work done apparently it was revoked because he got into an accident few months back before he bought it. He bought it with a carfax and autocheck and nothing showed up. He ended up selling it and loosing couple grand due to the fact he doesn't drive "crashed" cars and he felt the car was bad luck

I told my SA it died on me and they replaced it for free.

No I had them print out the warranty info on it and it clearly states it has the cpo warranty till 100k miles or 2014.
