Here is a an authentic BWM steering wheel for a manual transmission E90/E91/E92 3-series. I bought it from here with plans to have it covered in alcantara and never got around to using it. It's in excellent condition. I believe that the airbag IS part of the ongoing recall. You may be able to have it replaced by BMW if your car hasn't been recall-serviced yet, I don't know. I've kept it indoors in a low humidity environment.
The photos show all the part numbers except for the one stamped into the rubber of the wheel chassis itself (which is the most important one.) That part number is 3-375-E90-1.
All the parts show a manufacture data of 4/2011 that I could find.
