Wheels wheels wheels

So with the recent purchase of the E92 lci 330d m sport, I can't decide what to do with the wheels, it has the standard staggered 19" 313's but as most they have peeled and began to look a little tatty.

Now I've got 3 options have them refurbed and run the risk that they'll look the same after winter, get them powdered coated anthracite or buy a complete new set. My problem with the new set is I can't decide what will look best, as mentioned the car is an lci E92 in titanium silver, the wheels I like are M359's or a set of BBS M3 competition wheels obviously if I go new they would not be genuine as I can't afford or justify the cost, I'd most likely get them from CM wheels but what are people's thoughts and if possible has anyone got any pics of said wheels on a titanium silver E92.

Thanks in advance.

I am a huge fan of the 313s personally, even though I am running OEMS IFG3s at the moment. I think BMW really aced those wheels, they suit the e92 so damn well. If they are not cracked and the damage is purely the troublesome diamond turned face, I'd suggest a refurb in gunmetal or anthracite

Cheers, I do love the 313's I concave on the rears is awesome much better than the mv3's on my E90 320d. There is only slight kerb img so they would be an easy refurb. I'm just unsure what they would look like powdered coated as in would they really look as good as the diamond cut finish they currently have.

Diamond cut is never a good idea.

I bought a set of wheels from a respected wheel refurbisher in glasgow last year for the wifes car. They were freshly refurbed in anthracite but with a diamond cut and laquered lip. I didnt really want the diamond cut lip, but the price was right, and they had already been done.

Their usual warranty on refurb work was 2 years, but they only gave 6 months on diamond cut jobs due to their propensity for not lasting very long.

They're not even on the car over winter as i take them off and put some 17's on with winter tyres, but already two of the wheels have white marks underneath the lacquer.

If your going to get them redone, just get a proper powdercoat job in a nice anthracite color

Mine were powdercoated in ferric grey I believe because of this.

Looks decent against my Bluewater metallic paint which is quite similar to silver so gives you an idea

Get them done shadow chrome, will help accentuate the shape still.

Or get a set of the Hyper Silver M359s ******** are selling, will look fantastic against Silver.

Had my 313s done in shadow chrome, think they would look even better on a silver E92

Think it ruins the 313s when you paint them all the one colour. Original or not for me. Obviously not upto the job from new the 313s. The other half ran a set of 19 rage alloys which were an upgrade for the civic type r. Same thing. Painted inners and polished faces. Ran them for at least a couple of years on the Hondas and no issues whatsoever with the finish.

My 313s are absolutely battered, what's a good price for a refurb in the South East area?

I very nearly had my MV3's powder coated in ferric grey but as my car was black I didn't think it would work. Have you got any more pics of yours?

Good thing about shadow chrome, when they're dirty, they look like matt gunmetal
