Want to switch to m3 seats

I have 2011 355i e90 I was curious if anyone has switched out their front seat to m3 front seats?

As long as you get E90 M3 seats they bolt right in.

I switched my 135i to 1M interior. We had to re-code the seats--not the easiest of tasks but we got it done.

Looks like those are non powered seats...why did they have to be coded? I'm pretty sure 1 series and 3 series use the same seats, airbags and seat belt connectors
