I'm getting new wheels in 19x8.5 & 19x9.5. I want a GOOD all season tire that fills out the rim and gives a 'square look' (no stretch or balloon).

1. What tires should I look at?
2. Rear will be a 275/30.
3. What front will match the look of the rear better - 235/35 or 245/35?

For those wheel widths a 245/35/19 would fill it out a bit more. From my experience, a lot of all-seasons tend to run true to size or a little narrow. One of the highest rated all-seasons you can buy would be the Continental DWS, so check that one out.

Generally I'd recommend a 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 though. It will fit the wheels without a problem, and isn't considered stretched at all.

Conti DWS look good but don't they tend to run narrow compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3?

I don't know how they compare to the Michelins, as I haven't seen them side by side, but after comparing section widths and other specs on Tirerack, the physical dimensions look about the same. The Michelins probably have a more square shoulder though.

Yeah, that's definitely true! Another thing to point out is that some peoples opinions about how tires run, or what is considered stretched, will vary. So take everything with a grain of salt.

The Continentals have a pretty round shoulder, and if the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s share anything in common with the PSS in terms of the sidewalls, they will likely have a more square shoulder.

Will the 245/35/19 rub on an LCI E90 with a 19x8.5 et35 up front (stock sport suspension)?

It might rub. I don't recommend that sizing, so I can't say 100% that it will be rub free. Generally with that setup our customers run 235/35/19 tires with no issues.

I understand. Perhaps someone else can chime in where they have seen it work (or not work).
