Bluetooth Not Working - MultiMedia Only

Hey all,

On my 335IS, my phone syncs and connects via Bluetooth and I can receive/send calls handsfree, but when I head over to Multimedia, the bluetooth icon is shaded out and not enabled. It's been like this for a while and it was working several months back...I currently use USB to stream audio. I want to fix this, has anyone experienced any similar issues and know the fix for it? I tried deleting my phone and re-syncing it, but the same issue remains.

Thanks

Did you try putting your cursor over your phone name in CD/Multimedia -> Bluetooth -> Your phone name and then pressing the option button? Make sure it's set to both phone calls and music.

FYI when you plug in your phone into the USB center console port, it automatically disables bluetooth music, and does not re-enable it again. You have to manually re-enable it after every time you use your USB connection. I hate that, but I don't think BMW will ever update the combox software to fix it unfortunately.

Man, thanks a lot! That was it, I had to go in to Options, then Phone, and when I scrolled all the way to the bottom, Audio was disabled. Have no idea how it got disabled in that setting. All fixed, appreciate it.
